Up Close and Personal

In the Chair with…

Julie Giblin

Always imparting her skills and knowledge to our trainees, our workplace Assessor is so unflappable it’s quite comforting on a busy day in the salon. An expert in hair ups and weddings along with all other services Julie is a member of lots of local groups but probably drinks more wine at her local Book Group than reviews what she’s read! Eee by gomme she does a right good hair cut!

The best thing my parents taught me… Good manners

What I love the most about hairdressing… There’s no boundaries – Meeting new and interesting people

My proudest hairdressing moment… Sending a client away feeling happy about their new style

I think my clients love me because… Im chatty (most of the time) and always do a cracking job

My favourite part of the working week… The weekends

One thing I would change about the hairdressing industry… Its negative image it has sometimes

If I wasn’t a hairdresser now I’d be… A Countess 🙂

My biggest influence… Grandma

My greatest weakness… Chocolate and red wine

If I could change anything about myself I’d… Be taller and slimmer

It’s not good for my image but I like… To sing (badly!)

The song i can never get out of my head is… HAPPY

The most expensive thing I’ve ever frittered money on was… Clothes and Handbags

My last meal would be… Steak and Chips
